Haruko Ikeshima

I use the two meanings of the Japanese word "keshiki" (scenery), "landscape and the natural phenomena occurring within it" and "the special colors and patterns created by the phenomena occurring within 'things'", and their relationship to each other as a motif in my work. I observe the scenery of everyday buildings in Japan and create works based on my observations.
